About Mark Rutledge

Mark Rutledge is a father of three beautiful women and the proud grandfather of two grandsons and one granddaughter. Midwestern born and raised from the great state of Ohio. Graduate of the University of Akron (Akron, Ohio) that was part of the southern exodus in the 1980’s. Relocated to Atlanta, Georgia (well, the suburbs anyway) and worked as a business valuation consultant for nearly 40 years retiring at the end of 2022. A recent widower that was encouraged to explore writing on a consistent basis which has led to the start of this blog in September of 2023 focusing on my experiences over the last fifty years in different capacities drawing on my Midwestern roots and adult life experiences from living in the Southeast.
